Kathleen has returned to real estate after public service in the Arizona Legislature and the Tucson City Council.
However Kathleen is most acknowledged for her work in Animal Welfare and in fact was the sponsor of the Animal Cruelty Bill that passed the Arizona Legislature in 1999 making Animal Cruelty a class 6 felony.
Kathleen is married to Dick Dunbar, owner of Select Mortgage. 5 years ago they came to Prescott for a get-a-way weekend, fell in love with the community and today call Prescott Valley home. Dick has opened a branch of his Tucson based Mortgage Company on Windsong Drive in Prescott Valley.
Their family consist of 2 grown children, 3 grandchildren, 4 dogs and 3 cats. In their free time they love gardening walking their dogs, and spending time around the house.
Kathleen is a Board Member of the Yavapai Humane Society and will always work to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Groundbreaking for the First Playground for Children with all abilities in Jacobs Park. This was sponsored by the Catalina Rotary Club and built with private and public funds as a part of Rotary's 100th birthday celebration.
